Children's First Reconciliation Program
Ss Peter and Paul Parish First Reconciliation Program is an at-home preparation program which revolves around attendance at Mass as a member of the parish community.

Parents journey with their child in preparing for First Reconciliation by taking them through their workbooks and reflection sheets at home, and then attending Mass to hand in the completed work. In this way both parent and child participate as a family in their Faith.

To be eligible for the Sacrament children must be in Year 3 or above and be either a baptised Catholic or have been received into the Catholic Church prior to the celebration of the Sacrament.
If your child has not yet been baptised or has been baptised into another Christian denomination and you would like them to become Catholic, please contact the Parish Office as soon as possible to arrange a meeting with Fr Chris. (4232 2081 or kiama@dow.org.au)

In order to successfully complete the program, the following requirements must be met before a First Reconciliation candidate can attend the First Reconciliation ceremony:

-
Attendance at a Parent Information Night (at least one parent/guardian must attend)
-
Attendance at a Commitment Mass (candidate and at least one parent/guardian)
-
Attendance at Mass to hand in the reflection sheets (candidate and at least one parent/guardian must attend 3 evening Masses over a period of 5 weekends, with one reflection sheet to be handed in per Mass)
